Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be serving employees of AIESL.
- Candidates must have passed DGCA conducted knowledge examinations in the applicable category.
- Candidate must have passed all B1 or B2 modules of DGCA, or hold B1 / B2 DGCA License within AIESL capability.
- RT License will be preferred.
Experience Required
Candidates must have minimum 05 years aviation experience, including current practical maintenance experience on operating aircraft as prescribed under CAR 66. Out of this, at least 02 years must be in the service of AIESL.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 52 years as on 01 May 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government guidelines.
Selection Process
Candidates will be assessed by a committee based on eligibility criteria. Suitable candidates will be considered for the post of Trainee Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

Bond Period and Amount
Selected candidates must execute an indemnity bond of ₹5,00,000 for serving the company for a minimum period of 05 years from the date of joining or till superannuation/retirement, whichever is earlier.
Placement
Selected candidates may be posted at any AIESL station or region during training and after license endorsement, based on company requirements.
Salary Details
AME Trainees will be paid as per AIESL Board-approved policy. Existing pay will be protected during the training period if the trainee is already drawing higher salary.
